I just wanted everyone who came to last weeks show to know how much we all appreciate your undying and never-ending support! We'll be doing something again real soon with MAMMOTH - but maybe someday we can get SWEET REVENGE & MAMMOTH back together on stage for another unforgettable event! You know, I came to the show to see mammoth but i caught a good amount of Sweet Revenge. I had never heard there stuff before. I was greatly
suprised at how good they actually were and how good the songs were. Perhaps even better then hearing mammoth perform.

Matt, Great to see that you are still playing. I'll check out your video too. The guitar for ROCKING HEAVY is tuned down a half step to Eb,Ab,Db,Gb,Bb & Eb. You play the main riff on the 6th string. The whole CD is tuned this way. On some songs I drop the low E to a D(even though we tune down, I still call the strings by there original names). Anyway, great hearing from you and keep in touch! - Artie

I was waiting online to meet Rik Emmett (formely of Triumph), when Joe and I realized it was getting late,so we left the Kings Club, and we made it to see the second half of the Mammoth show. At least I got to see three amazing guitar players on the 24th. What could be better than seeing Randy Jackson (of Zebra, you fools, not American Idol), Rik Emmett,and Artie Blaurock in the same night! Three great guitarists.I was blown away on Sat. night.I know I had a great time. I hope to see a lot of you at the next show. Eddie

Hey guys.Sorry I'm posting this two weeks plus after the Downtown show, but life has kept me busy. Just want to say thanks again for kickin' ass and blowing the crowd away once again!!!!!The dedication of all you guys really shows. Just when I thought SWEET REVENGE couldn't sound any tighter, you come out with a performance that was just incredible.It's great to still be a part of it!!!! Hope it never ends. Can't wait for the next show in about 5 or so months. It also was great to see and hang with the members of Theatre of Pain and some other friends I haven't seen in a while. On a sad note I'd like to give my condolences to all the friends and families of anyone involved in the Great White tragedy in Rhode Island. I think we can all relate to what happened. Many Sweet Revenge shows in the past had cool pyros. Theatre of Pain, one of the best Motley Crue tribute bands you'll ever see, uses really cool pyros on their stage. It could have happened to any number of clubs we've seen great bands like SW or Theatre or some other bands play. You just never think it could happen to you or your friends. I rember when Sweet Revenge set the sprinklers off at the "Stage" in Farmingdale with some cool pyros.The floor got flooded, and the fire dept. showed up. It could have been any one of us that are fans or in the band who could have been burned alive just out to see a band kick some ass and let us forget about life for just awhile. That club went up so fast, those poor people never had a chance. It really makes me appreciate even more the great times and great music I've enjoyed by Sweet Revenge doing what they do. So until the next show, I hope everyone says a prayer for the deceased and the injured and give your kids or loved one a hug. Hope to see all of the Sweet Revenge fans out at the next show. Keep Rockin' Heavy!!!!

So I'm in Tower Records on Friday, and I notice "Sweet Revenge" in the racks. Quite a shock, as I assumed you had long since broken up. Bought the CD, and it's great. Never thought I'd hear those songs again! Then, coincidentally, the show is on Saturday night, so my girlfriend Lorre and I came down, and we had a great time. Everything does sound amazing. My cousin Dave came down to practice last night and said that it was like a time warp back to the Massapequa Basement! Jimmy Hunt sounds awesome and the three of us are completely tight as a rhythm section. I guess long distant jamming isn't that bad...

Just heard you guys on WBAB 102.3....I really feel the song "Never Let Go" was written for the families and friends of all the victims of 9/11.( but Art wrote this so long ago !!)...I could'nt think of a better song to play right after midnight....or should I say the first song of the day on the morning of 9/11 one year later !!! Hey RT,JC,Steve,And Jim It's about time that you guys finally gave all the SWEET REVENGE fans something absolutely awesome to listen to.All these years I've been listening to live tapes,or demos and now,after all these years,everyone else in the world can realize how much you guys kicked and again are kicking some ass in this no talent needed,boy band,hip hop crap,world that MTV and SHITTY radio have brainwashed people into believing is good music!!!!!It's about time that the world hears Artie's blistering guitar licks,Steve's thundering drums,Jay Cee's kickass throat, and Jim's pounding bass that the music industry has been missing for fuckin' years.One thing I can say is that if you leave a SWEET REVENGE live show and did'nt get your ass blown away, then you are definetly not a true rock fan! This is one Monster CD. Blastrock on Guitar is just out of this world nobody can match his licks,this guy is in scary class all his own, KillerKloos can hammer the drums right though your skull so you can feel them the next day-the dead on "TOP OF THE WORLD",Hunt makes the bass just come alive like no one else can

Kenny and Kenji...I was Mortimer in NEEDULHED. After Dorian Grey, Jimmy McClain(Snip), Weeks and I formed NEEDULHED. We changed our names and wore the full body makeup so people wouldn't know who we were and it worked for quite a while. We toured the US in over 30 cities and released 3 CD's and have been on 10 compilations released by LA labels. The band no longer exists. Jimmy (Snip) just moved to Pennsylvania, and Weeks is moving to Virginia at the end of the year. Towards the end of NEEDULHED is when Steve Kloos approached me about doing a SWEET REVENGE REUNION SHOW. None of us ever thought it would have gotten as big as it did. It really was only supposed to be one show, but it was so succesful, we decided to release a full length CD and do another show on September 14th. So in a quick nutshell, that's the story!
